Accounts and community content
We store your username, a salted password hash, account role, saved hunts and posts. Session and anti-forgery cookies support sign-in and secure forms. They are necessary for those functions. Your light/dark appearance preference is stored locally in your browser. We do not ask for your email to create an account.
Visits and moderation
We count page visits using a pseudonymous identifier derived from necessary session/anti-forgery cookies, with a private connection identifier as a fallback. We retain visit records for 30 days and use temporary rate limits to reduce spam. These approximate counts can change as cookies expire or devices change. We do not publish visitor identifiers or precise location.
Maps and outbound links
Maps load imagery from Esri and OpenStreetMap, which receive normal network request information such as your IP address. Video and shop links take you to external sites with their own privacy policies. Amazon may use cookies and other tracking when you follow an affiliate link.
Advertising
No Google AdSense script is currently active on this site. If ads or analytics requiring consent are added, this policy and consent controls will be updated before they run.
Your choices
Do not include personal addresses, sensitive information or other people’s private details in posts. You may ask the site owner to remove your account or content through the suggestion form. Public posts may be reviewed, hidden or removed under our community rules. Local backups may retain earlier records until replaced.
